This position will create, develop and execute a promotional strategy inside The Fresh Market locations while staying true and consistent to our consumer brand approach. This position will target marketing campaigns to support overall marketing and merchandising objections.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager � In Store Promotions will work to identify and develop new, creative and strategic tactics to execute inside The Fresh Market store locations. This position will lead the creation and execution of a wide variety of consumer promotion and communication programs with a primary focus on bringing The Fresh Market brand to life.

Position Description

� Leads the creation and execution of a wide variety of consumer promotion programs with a primary focus on bringing experiential brand communication/events to life
� Ability to think creatively inspiring the development of unique and innovative promotional ideas and solutions
� Management of the promotional merchandising and marketing communications monthly calendar
� Developing, communicating and implementing all in-store promotional events
� Conceptualizes, develops and executes promotions activities & marketing tactics to achieve sales goals
� Work with both social media and targeted media (print & digital)communication messaging, promoting in-store events, driving traffic into the stores
� Manage The Fresh Market vision and purpose while maintaining multiple priorities & campaigns simultaneously
� Work closely with merchandisers in order to plan, execute, and enhance promotion activities
� Inspects layouts, copy and other brand visual and promotional material for adherence to specifications
� Strong ability to influence others � excellent verbal and written communications skills
� Ensuring there is consistency across the various departments in order to compliment all promotional themes within each store and nationwide
� Execution of retail promotions that drive measureable results
� Promote local vendor products with related signage and information
� Focus on cross promotion within the stores providing recommendations to consumers to increase store sales to include in-store cooking demonstrations


� Must have a Bachelor�s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Retail Management or a related field of study and minimum of 3 years work experience in brand marketing for a multi-unit retail organization
� Digital marketing experience with an emphasis on email marketing
� Deep understanding of how to bring brand values to life creatively at retail
� Experience in leading and managing multiple projects with the ability to create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives
� Experience working on the client side of a marketing institution preferable
� Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
� Successful candidate will be a strong team player, results driven, collaborative and strategic, possessing excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities
